  • It is quite disturbing to walk around in one of the even busier than usual areas of Bangkok (SIAM SQUARE) and suddenly stumble upon a desolated alley. One is inclined to walk into one of the empty houses, climb the dusty stairs and sit down next to the window, waiting for the clock to strike twelve. One imagines seeing a tall slender man walking in the street with his hands on his belt, ready to draw. On the other end of the street a small husky man adjusts his hat, comfortable knowing the sun is behind him, making it harder for his opponent to read his face. It is an advantage, 'cause he hardly looks as fearsome as his adversary, staring upon this silhouette before him without the slightest display of fear. As the last bell is emptying it's metal sound in echoes down the alley, the only sound left is that of the wind pushing rubbish around the pavement. The two men put themselves in position, feet at shoulderlength, hands on their guns. The moment they have both been waiting for ever since yesternight has dawned upon them. It is time. And then, out of nowhere, a strange and unheard sound fills the street, both men look to the source of this frightfull hurl as it nears them. A strange carriage is closing in on them, but no horse is to be seen... Is this one of the devils tricks? And why do all the letters on the billboards are looking so funny, the tall one asks himself before being forced to dash ungracefully into one of the garbageheaps. He nearly got himself killed by this devilish carriage, swooping the street and driven by some strange kind of Indian. The small man helps him to his feet, this is not a time to quarrel.. They both look towards the end of the street, where the strange sound slowly fades away. Tuk-tuk\tuk-tuk\tuk-tuk\tuk-tuk it goes and then all is quiet again...
